NewsFebruary FinancesBring your financial questions to the general meeting on Feb. 21st. A financial planner will be coming to address your money issues. Join us for a Picnic—No Ants, Guaranteed!On Saturday, March 1st, beginning at noon, our annual winter picnic returns for another run, with sledding, good food and no shortage of fun. The place is the South Lodge at Powder Mills Park. Save the Date! Spring into Garage SalingThe GRMOTC Spring Garage Sale will be on March 28th and 29th. Check out our garage sale page for details. We've Changed our Meeting Format (a little)This year, the club is trying a slight adjustment to our previous meeting format. Members have in the past expressed a desire for more discussion time. So, to accommodate your wishes, we will begin the discussion groups (Newcomer's Circle and Moms of Tots) at 6:30 but break at 7:10, then join the general membership for a round table discussion of a twins-related topic. At 7:40 our business portion of the meeting will begin and will end promptly at 8pm, when our programs will begin. Come and be Board!Maybe you're not sure you're up to the responsibility of being an officer this year, but if you'd like to be a bigger part of the club, consider being on the Executive Board. This year, Board members will meet on the first Monday of each month September through June, and discuss many issues facing the club. It's a great way to meet great people and be more involved. There are many committees to choose from. Maybe one of them is the perfect way for you to share your special talents.We Now Have an Online ForumThe latest benefit of club membership is an online forum where members can post questions and announcements, and post notices of equipment for sale to other members. To sign up, go to http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=82883. Participation is limited to members; your sign-up will be approved before you can post. If you can't make it to meetings, but have questions, this is another way to ask the membership about all things twins. |
