Membership

Membership in GRMOTC is open to any mother of multiple birth children, including those expecting multiples. Annual dues to GRMOTC are $27 per year, payable by the September meeting. New members who join in February or later pay just $21 for the year. See "How to Join" for more information about joining.

Membership entitles you to participate in all Club events, and includes a subscription to Multiple Messenger, our monthly newsletter, as well as membership in both the New York State and National Mothers of Twins organizations. Included in the National Membership is a subscription to National Notebook, the National newsletter, published bi-monthly.

We invite you to attend, as our guest, up to three general meetings while deciding if the Club is right for you. After that, we ask that you pay dues and become a member of the Club.

We offer our newest members a chance to gather each month in our "Newcomer's Circle." The Newcomer's Circle is held on general meeting nights and begins at 6:45pm (see our Calendar for this year's dates). It is an opportunity to meet other new members while learning a little about the club. Because a significant percentage of our new members are expecting or have infant twins, discussion tends to focus on issues related to twin pregnancies and very young twins.

Moms with toddler-age multiples are sure to enjoy the Moms of Tots group. This informal discussion group is styled after our popular "Newcomer's Circle" and meets at 6:45pm on general meeting nights. (see our Calendar for this year's dates).

New members are encouraged to participate in the "Big Sister" program. Each new member is assigned to a "Big Sister" for their first year in the club. A "Big Sister" will help you get acclimated to the Club, and is asked to attend your first meeting with you. She will introduce you to the officers and other members in the club, will help familiarize you with our meetings and will be available to you for any questions you might have about the club.

Remember, to receive a full year of Club benefits, membership dues must be renewed annually, and paid by the September general meeting. New members can join at any time during the year, and like all members, will receive Club benefits until the following September.
